Oasis – Retirement or Afterglow: Fulfillment, Contentment & Renewal

What comes after retirement? Is it a season of winding down, or an opportunity to embrace a new chapter of purpose, growth, and service?

Join OASIS on 18 July for a special sharing session titled “Retirement or Afterglow?” as we explore how to navigate the transitions that often accompany retirement and later life.

As Singapore enters a “Super-Aged” era, many older adults find themselves facing changes in identity, routine, relationships, and purpose. While these transitions can be challenging, they can also become opportunities for growth, renewal, and deeper dependence on God.

This programme is designed to help participants approach this season with courage, wisdom, and gracious acceptance. Together, we will explore how to move from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset and learn practical ways to steward the next 10–20 years for God’s glory through the C.U.L.E. framework:

• Cultivating Community – Building meaningful relationships and deep fellowship
• Using Your Unique Blueprint – Understanding and leveraging your God-given strengths and experiences
• Living on Purpose – Continuing to serve and make a difference in God’s kingdom
• Embracing Lifelong Learning – Staying curious, engaged, and open to growth
