Administrative Staff (Chinese Ministry) 行政人员(中文部)
Provide general administrative support for the Chinese ministry which includes Mandarin Worship Service and Sunday Evening Mandarin Service.

Roles and Responsibilities 职责
- Provide general administrative support for the Chinese ministry which includes Mandarin Worship Service and Sunday Evening Mandarin Service.
- Coordinate logistics support to ensure smooth running of the weekly service:
- Schedule worship duty roster.
- Liaise and coordinate with worship leader, pianist, service team and speakers to gather the contents and logistics for weekly service.
- Prepare the contents for presentation slides, bulletin and announcements for uploading (website, Pro-presentor etc) and dissemination to various communication channels.
- Collate and compile attendance record for reporting.
- Manage membership database to ensure that it is current and accurate.
- Maintaining and update new and existing member’s record and files.
- Prepare member list and notices for Annual Congregational Meetings and Annual General Meeting.
- Assist in the administrative support and coordination of events and projects such as holy communion, prayer meetings, church camp, baptisms, wakes etc to ensure the smooth running of the events.
- Collate and compile prayer requests for prayer meetings.
- Prepare holy communion and baptismal elements, documents and slides.
- Design and prepare publicity materials and program booklets.
- Assists in the general set up and preparations (e.g. luncheons and name tags etc)
- Arrange birthday greetings, wreath and get-well baskets for members and congregants.
- Provide administrative support to church office and handles general enquiries through various communication channels.
- Any other duties as assigned.

- 预备与圣餐和洗礼相关所需的用品,证书和幻灯片。
- 设计与准备宣传资料和节目单。

- 预备会友生日卡,花圈和礼篮。

Requirements 资格要求
- Minimum ‘O’ Level
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Must be fluent in Chinese language to support work in Chinese congregation.
- A mature disciple with a relationship with Christ Jesus.
- Possess prior experience in supporting ministry work and familiar with serving in a church environment.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- Detailed and meticulous.
- Able to translate materials from English to Chinese and vice versa is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and a team player.
- 5 days week and able to work Saturday mornings when required.

Evangelism Pastor
Do you have a passion in inspiring God’s people to proclaim the Good News of Jesus by living out Christ’s love?
Mount Carmel is seeking a Pastor with the pivotal role of shaping the missional discipleship culture and direction of the Church. This person provides spiritual and ministry leadership for the local community outreach and evangelism, discipling, inspiring and equipping Carmelites to proclaim the Good News of Jesus by living out Christ’s love wherever He places us.
Roles and Responsibilities
Local Evangelism and Community Outreach
Develop an overall plan and strategy to develop the Church’s missional discipleship identity that is in line with the Church’s mission, vision and core values.
- Leads, manages and evaluates church-wide community outreach and evangelism efforts and events.
- This includes developing a community outreach ecosystem that will enable Carmelites to love our neighbours in action and proclaim the Gospel in deed and Word.
- Design, plan and implement an administrative system for engaging and following up with contacts and newcomers.
- Integrate the above (outreach and evangelism value chain) with Instruction and Fellowship domains to shape disciples with missional mindset.
- Evaluate and develop our existing evangelism and outreach programs (e.g Alpha) by discipling and building teams of volunteers to follow-up on seekers and new converts.
- Oversees key church-wide evangelistic events that include methods to mobilize members to invite the seekers and unsaved.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness and impact of evangelistic efforts.
- Together with Instruction domain, identify and implement church-wide outreach and evangelism training program to equip every Carmelites to share their faith in their daily life (in English and Mandarin).
- Together with Fellowship domain, identify and implement strategy to ensure new believer’s integration into the church community.
Overseas Missions
Work alongside and understudy the Pastor-in-charge of Evangelism in relations to the overseas missions in the nine nations:
- Advisory and ministry support in strengthening the work in the field.
- Training and equipping of ministry workers in the field
- Policies and process development
- Building and maintaining relationships with overseas missionaries
- Engaging, mobilizing and equipping of the Carmelites to be involved in missions work.
Administration and other duties
- Monitor, review and provide regular updates to the pastoral team and leadership board to ensure visibility and alignment of the assigned ministries to the wider church.
- Collaborate with other ministries to help accomplish the vision and mission of the wider church.
- Prepare and manage annual budget (where assigned) to ensure good stewardship of the funds.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for assigned ministries.
- Participate as part of the pastoral and preaching team to minister to the wider congregation.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A mature disciple who shows evidence of a growing relationship with Christ Jesus through spiritual disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of formal theological training (Master of Divinity/Master of Theology/Master of Arts). Those without theological training but with plans to progress to seminary education may first be considered for ministry staff position.
- Strengths and experience in leading, planning and implementing evangelism and outreach ministries and initiatives.
- Possess a gift of evangelism, with a passion for proclaiming the gospel and discipling others to do so through living out Christ’s love in their daily lives.
- Possess good relationship building skills and demonstrate ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong ability to engage and inspire people to proclaim the gospel and reach out to the people in their lives.
- Skills in preaching and teaching will be an advantage.
- A collaborative team player who takes a collaborative approach to engage all stakeholders.
- Able to work weekends with Monday off.
