Leviticus: Is It Readable and Relevant?

When it comes to Leviticus, many Christians hit the fast-forward button, because it’s difficult to read and they don’t think it’s still relevant to them. The trouble is, when we skip some parts, we don’t quite understand the whole story. It’s like fast forwarding past the slow-moving parts of a movie!

Leviticus is the prelude to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We can never fully understand the gospel without first understanding Leviticus. This is why when the book of Hebrews speaks of the gospel, it refers so much to Leviticus. In this workshop conducted on 5 July, you will learn that while it is difficult, Leviticus is readable, and its message on holiness is directly relevant to our salvation and spiritual formation today.
